Vintage EFFANBEE WALK TALK SLEEP16" DOLL-Composition and Cloth-Teeth-Sleepy eyes

Description

Very nice older Effanbee 16" Walk, Talk and Sleep Composition and cloth doll.  Manufactured in the mid 1920's she looks pretty good for her age.  She has jointed arms and legs and a shoulder head.  The composition is rubbing off as you can see by the pictures.  Her fingers and toes are fine and face is quite nice as well.  She has molded blonde hair, sleepy blue tin eyes (no lashes), an open red mouth showing two top teeth, and little dimples.  She is tightly wired and can be posed.  Her squeaker no longer works. There are a couple of stains on her cloth body.  She comes a darling little outfit that includes a peach silk diaper, long stockings, peach silk coat dress with lace and two little buttons, and a matching bonnet.  The dress has three tiny holes on the left bottom.  Not sure if original but seem to be period appropriate so perhaps.  She is an estate sale find so no history but I know she is a rarity!  Nice doll for your older doll collection.  Thank you for viewing.
